Care Instructions

Our products are crafted from Kiln dried Hardwoods. Indoor products are finished using food safe mineral oil and beeswax. Our outdoor products (door numbers, stable signs etc.) will be finished with Teak oil

Do:

• Hand wash only using a clean, damp (not wet) cloth, drying after with a towel.
• Apply periodically, a light coating of walnut oil, mineral oil or beeswax to
  restore the lustre and condition.
• If you are using the item for food, such as our bowls and trays, make sure the finish you are using is food safe. I would recommend any cutting board oil or cutting board butter

Don’t:

• Immerse in water, or place in a dishwasher as this will significantly
  reduce the life of the board.
• Leave to dry or place near a radiator, this will dry out the wood and can
  cause warping.
• Place on top of cookers or stoves, this is a potential fire hazard and can
  also warp the board
